As far as activities go, your choices seem endless. You can choose between numerous excursions, walks, and sports or cultural activities. 

Walks:

• Our village is part of the “Mare a Mare Centre” path, which traverses Corsica from the west coast to the east coast. The famous GR20 path is only 15 km from our guest houses. 

• A grid of small paths connects most of the villages in the valley and makes it possible to explore the old villages and surrounding farmland. Everywhere you go, you will find low stone walls, pastures, woods, and a magnificent mountain panorama. Discover also an old Genoese bridge in a double S-form and other interesting spots.

Fishing:

• You can easily purchase a fishing permit in Ajaccio and hence get to know the Corsican trout, the “macrostigma”, which lives in the local mountain rivers.

Discovery of the cultural heritage:

• There are ancient villages to explore, which inspired Prosper Mérimée to write novellas about Corsica; even simple residences show a compact architecture, built for defence. Only a few embellishments decorate the houses of the former local gentry…

• The “Route des Sens Authentiques” (route of authentic sensations) traverses our valley. A booklet lists all the handicraft and agricultural manufacturers who offer their products: aromatic macchia honey, fine ceramics, delicate creamy chestnut confectionary, flavoursome cheese, hand-crafted knives…

Bathing in the river

Simple pleasures:

• We have the space and the equipment to play Boules (others will readily join in!).

• We have different games available for indoors and outdoors.

• If you travel by bike, you will be interested to hear that there are enjoyable paths and tracks and well-constructed, quiet roads…

If you plan to stay for some time, prestigious places can be reached within a 1-1.5 hour drive:

• the famous Needles of Bavella.

• the prehistoric findings of Cuccuruzzu and Filitosa (among others).

• the breath-taking beaches of the west coast (Porticcio, Propriano, Campomoro, Cupabia, Capu di Fenu...).

• the city of Ajaccio, with its museums, alleys, markets, historic buildings, excursions by boat…

• the surroundings of Ajaccio with their Genoese towers, the Sanguinaires islands, the turtle park “A Cuppulata”, ropes courses etc.
